I have no professional experience with perfume-making or any facet of the fragrance business.

I’m just an average person with a long-time casual interest in fragrance that is just beginning to blossom into an obsession.

I have allergies and have had sinus surgery in the past so my sniffer isn’t very sensitive. I’m not always able to pick out individual scent notes, but that doesn’t stop me from trying. All I know is what smells pleasant to me.

I’m female but generally prefer masculine fragrances. I always tell people to ignore labels and wear the scents they like. Life is too short to let ourselves be shoved into a corner. The fragrance world is huge, enjoy every bit of it.
